The Move group includes 5 general modes of transportation: truck, rail, air, water and pipeline. In the United States, these modes shipped 13 billion tons of goods valued at almost $12 trillion in 2007, according to the 2007 Commodity Flow Survey (CFS) produced by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Census Bureau (see table below).
